What we do.

Early Spring is an experiential marketing agency in New York City. We create retail experiences, brand activations, pop-ups, installations, summits, and street moments, always with a strategic view to ensure impact and emotional resonance. Every project runs through three connected disciplines, from first insight to final measurement.

01Strategy

Every engagement starts with research. We dig into the consumer, the culture, and the moment, then shape a position and a narrative sharp enough to build a whole experience around. It's the difference between an activation that looks good and one that means something.

02Creative

Strategy becomes something you can walk into. We design the world, art-direct every detail, and use creative technology to make the intangible feel real. The idea that gets pitched is the idea that gets built.

03Production

We take experiences from concept to on-site reality, and own every logistic in between. Planning, permits, vendors, media, content, and the measurement that proves it worked. One team, insight to install.

What we build

Six formats, mostly. The brief decides which — and often the answer is more than one.

01Retail experiences

A store that does more than sell. For The Arrivals we built OutThere Lab — a weather-themed resource center for the near future, blurring the line between the individual and the elements.

02Brand activations

A brand turning up where culture already is. Flamingo wanted an out-of-the-box moment for Anything But Dull, so we turned one of New York's dullest, most overlooked lots into a pink diorama.

03Pop-ups

Temporary by design, and harder for it — permits, neighbours, weather and a hard out. Dreame's holiday apartment at ModernHaus turned home-technology demonstrations into lifestyle moments.

04Installations

Objects that carry an idea without a word of explanation. In Riyadh, kinetic sculptures and calligraphy interpreted poems from five continents for the Saudi Year of Arabic Poetry.

05Summits

A room of the right people, with a reason to stay. Bumble Bizz brought a hundred of Atlanta's first movers together around a hackathon and a keynote from Serena Williams.

06Street moments

The city as the venue. Thirty Joy Messengers carried four thousand newspapers across Manhattan on the longest day of the year, for Veuve Clicquot's Chasing the Sun.

How a project runs

One team carries it the whole way. Nothing is handed to a production company halfway through, which is why the idea that gets pitched is the idea that gets built.

The thinking behind the work

We call our method Engineering Serendipity: designing for the moments people don't just attend, but remember.

Common questions

What does an experiential marketing agency do?

It builds the parts of a brand people can walk into — a pop-up, an activation, an installation, a summit, a street moment. At Early Spring that means the whole arc: the research that decides what to make, the design that makes it, and the production that gets it built, permitted and measured.

Do you handle permits, vendors and staffing?

Yes. Planning and logistics, venue scouting and management, vendor management and staffing, permitting, media buying and content production all sit with one team. Insight to install.

Where do you work?

Brooklyn is home. The work has run in New York and East Hampton, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, London and Riyadh.

What size brands do you work with?

Both ends. Chanel, Netflix, Disney, LPGA and Veuve Clicquot — and challengers making their first big cultural bet, like Flamingo, ARMRA, The Arrivals and Wellfare.

What makes Early Spring different from an event production company?

Research and strategy lead the work rather than arriving after the idea. That is the difference between an activation that looks good and one that means something — and because the same team also produces it, nothing is lost in the handover.
